Eaglecrest Hike Guided Tour

Join me, your local guide, as we hike Eaglecrest Ski Area on Douglas Island. You'll see first hand one of my favorite hiking destinations. Passing through rich forests, streams, wildflowers, small lakes, occasional wildlife, and insane views! We'll summit Pitman's Ridge, loop the top, take in the views and rest, then and head back down.  Most of the trail is gravel, however once we get high enough the trail switches to a narrow dirt and muddy trail. Finish with great recommendations on where to eat, sip, shop, and explore.

• 3hrs hiking, 20min drive time to and from trailhead
• 1620ft elevation gain, approximately 4 miles
• moderate to difficult in difficulty, must be physically fit
• wear comfortable hiking shoes, pack a water bottle, snacks, rain pants and rain jacket, extra socks, ball cap, hiking poles (optional) and camera
• hiking in all weather conditions
• Tour begins and ends at 224 Front Street in downtown Juneau, Alaska
