Downhill or Nordic?! Juneau's got both, of course. You can find skiing December through May sometimes! Snow fills first near the Mendenhall Glacier area and can generally stay good even in rainier winters. My favorite is April to May skiing at Eaglecrest when the dial has officially switched to Spring after a heavy snow year. All this made better when the chair isn't spinning for touring up to the top. Nordic skiing the upper track is so dreamy!
Downhill skiing, really fun terrain for all levels, three chairs, variable conditions, and two nordic tracks. Great for touring on ski area closure days.
